Is Starbucks open on Christmas Day 2019?

Are you looking for a caffeine fix on Christmas Day? Is Starbucks your go-to when it comes to coffee? Then you may want to know if it’s open.

Are you wondering whether you are going to have to dust off your coffeemaker on Christmas Day or if you can head to your local Starbucks for that caffeine fix? Believe me, we understand.

In my house, we don’t even own a coffee maker (the horror, I know!), but we indulge in a lot of Starbucks. And when the holidays roll around, we need to know if we are going to be able to grab our Cold Brews, Lattes, and Macchiatos.

Well, the answer is not as simple as yes or no. There are a number of locations that will be open on Christmas Day. And while they may not be open their usual hours, they will be open for a good part of the day. However, there are also locations that will be closed.

This means that before you head out to get that Caramel Brulee Latte or Eggnog Latte, you may want to check with your store to see if they will be open. I have gone to a few different Starbucks locations here in Dallas, Texas to check their holiday hours and have found a few that will be open from 5AM until 4PM. However, I have also found some that will be closed that day.

And up in Massachusetts, my mother found that her local Starbucks in Chicopee will be open until 4PM on Christmas Day, just like they were on Thanksgiving. (Even if your store was open on Thanksgiving, there is no guarantee that they will also be open on Christmas.)

And even in terms of what their hours will be, every Starbucks location is different, as some will close earlier than others.

Ultimately, the only way to know for sure if your location will be open is to either check in the app, (the app offers the actual store hours on the day of the holiday) or to call and ask.
