Starbucks color-changing cups have arrived for the holidays
By D. Goodman
In an attempt to make your coffee even more festive, Starbucks has released color-changing cups for the holiday season.
If you’re the type of person who looks forward to what Starbucks has planned for the holiday season, the past few weeks have been a big one for you. Between the return of their popular holiday drinks to reusable cups, the news has been coming fast and furious, just with less Vin Diesel.
However, it turns out the coffee empire was far from done. Now Starbucks fans have reported that they have started spotting holiday-themed color-changing cups in the wild. Consider my mind blown.
Starbucks color-changing cups are here.

According to Delish, the new cups start out green, the same color as the Christmas tree you’ll be putting up in a few weeks. Once the cold or hot drink is added, they slowly start to change to a holiday red. And you can add one to your Starbucks collection for just $3.
But if you thought that was it, you’d be wrong. Starbucks revealed that not only can you get them in stores with your drink but you can also order them direct from their website. Not only that, but these have candy canes on them. Candy canes! How cool will it look at your holiday party when your guest’s drink starts to change color and you win for coolest shindig.
The candy cane color-changing cups will run you $17 for a set of six while a five-pack of Glitter Cold cups will set you back about $20. Methinks this would make a pretty cool gift as well, no?
These will only be available for a limited time so when the holidays are gone, so will they. Get them while you can.
What do you think coffee lovers? Would you enjoy watching your cup change color while you drink? Or is that just too much for you? Leave a comment and let us know.
