Best Cinco de Mayo Deals: Chipotle, Taco Bell, and more

It’s Cinco de Mayo today (May 5, 2024), aka one of the best food holidays of the year. Yes, there’s a grand tradition of Mexican heritage to celebrate today, and we fully recommend you be respectful of all of that. But at the same time, your favorite Mexican chains – and others – are going all out to bring you incredible deals on tacos, burritos, and much more.

That includes Taco Bell, Chipotle, El Pollo Loco, and even chains like Cold Stone Creamery, all of which have some sweet – and spicy – Cinco de Mayo deals to take advantage of, today only.

Taco Bell

Taco Bell has several Cinco deals to take advantage of today. The big one is five tacos for $5, which comes out to a $1 per taco if you couldn’t do the math. You need to be a loyalty program member, and use the Taco Bell app to order.

In addition, there are several ongoing deals that end today. Spend $20 or more on Taco Bell through DoorDash or Grubhub, you can get a free order of Nachos Bellgrande. Or order from Uber Eats or Postmates, and you can get a BOGO Nachos Bellgrande (that’s buy one, get one free).

Chipotle

The Chipotle deal is pretty simple: $0 delivery fee in the app or on the website. The Chipotle Cinco code is pretty straightforward, too: CINCO24. However, it’s only valid on orders between $10 and $200, and not on burrito boxes or catering.

Guac On The Rock

For the fifth year in a row, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is offering free guacamole if you buy a cocktail made with Teremana, his tequila brand. All you have to do is take a picture of your receipt, upload it to GuacOnTheRock.com, and he’ll reimburse you on Venmo. Once he hits $1 million, though, he is done harder than the Black Adam franchise.

Cold Stone Creamery

Cold Stone Creamery has brought back the Choco Taco - sort of. The Waffle Ice Cream Taco isn’t exactly the classic dessert, but it is a waffle taco filled with sweet cream ice cream, covered in chocolate and peanuts. It’s available only until today in participating stores.

Jack In The Box

Jack in the Box is offering free tiny tacos or a meat lovers burrito with every order of $5 or more. You’ll need to sign up for the Jack Pack Rewards Program, but this deal is available for new and existing members. Plus, the brand notes that they always have two tacos for 99 cents.

El Pollo Loco

The crazy chicken has some crazy good deals, including a Cinco exclusive: get two free shredded chicken crunchy tacos with any in-app order of $10 or more, as well as no delivery fee all day long.

They’ve also got two ongoing deals you can take advantage of… Get $20 off a $100 catering order, and if you buy a $50 eGift card, you can get a $10 Bonus.

Tocaya Modern Mexican

The chain has been going a little harder on deals leading up to Cinco, but today only if you tag @tocayaorganica on Instagram with your online order, you might have a chance to win a $500 gift card.

Taco John’s

Loyalty club members can get a free beef Taco Bravo today with any purchase of $5 or more, in-app, or in-store. The catch is, though, you needed to have signed up for the loyalty program by yesterday (May 4). If you didn’t, you’re gonna be buying a Taco Bravo like a rube.

Applebee’s

Margarita’s for $1? Don’t mind it I do! The $1 Dollarita is back for a limited time, and for 50 cents more you can add Strawberry, Mango, Passion Fruit, Peach, or Blue Raspberry flavoring. Plus they've got some Cerveza & Sips deals, if you want to try a $5 The Rock marg, or a $9 The Rock + Breaking Bad marg.

Truly Tequila Soda

For $25 you can snag a Truly Tequila Soda Fiesta Pack featuring 4 flavors of the (excellent) alcoholic drink, Chamoy gummy worms, a 2-pack of taco holders, and some fiesta flags.

Chili's

Chili's deals are all about the margs! You can get the Tequila Trifecta Margarita for only $5, of the marg of the month - Tito's Watermelon Spritz - for $6. Rewards members can also get chips and salsa free when they sign up, which is not a marg.

Moe's Southwest Grill

Snag a burrito or bowl for $5.55 today only, as long as you're a rewards member.

California Pizza Kitchen

Not the first place you’d think of for Cinco de Mayo (see: the name of the restaurant), but they are offering a bunch of specials for the day. That includes $5 starters (white corn guacamole and chips or Mexican street corn), $7 margaritas (Casa Paloma, Fresh Agave Lime Margarita, Endless Sunshine), and $9 pizza and beer (7” green Chili Enchilada pizza, or 7” Spicy Chipotle Chicken pizza, plus a draft beer).

Hooters

Also not the first place I’d head for Cinco (see: the name of the restaurant), but until the end of the day today you can get $5 Dos Equis, margaritas, or shots of Patrón.
